Learn how to seamlessly integrate your Klaviyo account with MailBoost to automatically rescue lost revenue.

How the Integration Works

Once your accounts are linked, MailBoost acts as the ultimate safety net for your checkout process:

  1. Visitor triggers on-site event on the shop β†’ The MailBoost pixel instantly captures it.

  2. MailBoost identifies the user β†’ We recognize the customer, even if they have slipped off Klaviyo's radar.

  3. Data syncs to Klaviyo β†’ The triggered event is pushed to Klaviyo, enriched with the referenced email by MailBoost.

  4. Klaviyo Flow gets triggered β†’ Customer receives email based on your flow.

How to Activate MailBoost

In MailBoost, we made the integration and activation as easy as possible.

Step 1: Navigate to Connections

  1. Navigate to the Connections tab in the left-hand menu (or click here).

  2. Click on the button "Connect with Klaviyo".

Step 2: Grant Klaviyo Authorization

  1. From there you will be securely routed to Klaviyo's authorization page.

  2. Click Allow to give MailBoost the permissions it needs to sync your events.

Step 3: Boost Your Flows

After authorizing the connection, navigate to the Flows tab in the left-hand menu (or click here).

  1. Browse the list of your active Klaviyo flows.

  2. Boost a flow by clicking on the "Boost" button.

From there MailBoost will automatically handle the heavy lifting:

  • Cloning the selected flows.

  • Inject the required MailBoost event triggers.

  • Configure smart timing delays so customers never receive duplicate messages.

Important Note: Due to Klaviyo's API limitations, flows containing active A/B tests cannot be cloned automatically. You will need to set these up manually.

Step 4: Transfer Re-Entry Criteria

Take a quick look at your newly duplicated MailBoost flows in Klaviyo. If your original flows relied on specific re-entry criteria (rules dictating how often someone can enter a flow), you will need to manually copy those settings over to your new MailBoost flows to keep your marketing logic intact.

Common Question: Should I pause the original flows?

No. MailBoost flows will only be sent, if the original flow wasn't triggered.
