Tracking Asset Downtime

Setting Asset Downtime Status

NOTE: This feature is only available for Premium and Enterprise plans.

You can change asset downtime in two ways:

  1. Within already created Work Order, or

  2. Within Asset

Changing Asset Downtime Status from within Already Created Work Order

NOTE: Work Order must already be created.

  1. Go to Work Orders tab

  2. Select Work Order to change Asset Downtime Status

  3. Scroll to Asset

  4. Below Asset name, click arrow next to current Asset status

  5. Select Online, Offline, or Do Not Track

  6. Click blue + Add New Status Type

  7. Under New Status Type, enter Asset Status Name

    1. If Offline, select Downtime Type as Unplanned or Planned

  8. In top right corner, click Mark as Done

Changing Asset Downtime Status from within Asset

  1. Go to Assets tab

  2. Select Asset to change Asset Downtime Status

  3. To right of current Status and Reliability, click arrow

  4. Select Online, Offline, or Do Not Track

  5. Click blue + Add New Status Type

  6. Under New Status Type, enter Asset Status Name

    1. If Offline, select Downtime Type as Unplanned or Planned

  7. Click Next

  8. Add optional Note

  9. Click Update Status

Adding Custom Asset Downtime Status Options

  1. Go to Assets tab

  2. Select Asset to change Asset Downtime Status

  3. To right of current Status and Reliability, click arrow

  4. Select Online, Offline, or Do Not Track

  5. Click blue + Add New Status Type

  6. Under New Status Type, enter Asset Status Name

    1. If Offline, select Downtime Type as Unplanned or Planned

  7. Click Next

  8. Leave optional Note

  9. Click Update Status

NOTE: New Asset Downtime option will now appear as option for all Asset Downtime Status options.

Adding Downtime to Asset Status Manually

  1. Go to Assets tab

  2. Select Asset to manually add Downtime

  3. To right of current Status and Reliability, click arrow

  4. Below Asset History graph, click + Add Manual Downtime

  5. Click appropriate Status option

  6. Add Downtime Dates and Times

  7. Add optional Note

  8. Click Submit

Exporting Asset Downtime Tracking Data per Asset (as CSV file)

NOTE: You can only export Downtime Tracking Data for one Asset at a time.

  1. Go to Assets tab

  2. Select Asset to export Downtime Tracking Data

  3. To right of current Status and Reliability, click arrow

  4. In top right, click Export Data

  5. Save CSV data file to computer
