MaintainX allows you to upload reference files, such as text documents, images and PDFs, in order to generate more specific procedures.
Procedure Generation extracts information from the reference file and uses it to generate a relevant procedure within MaintainX. Reference files can be used in combination with written prompts to help generate more specific procedures.
Supported Document Types
Procedure Generation supports various file formats, including PDF, XLSX, DOC, TXT, CSV, and images in JPG, PNG, and GIF formats (more formats will be added in the future).
It works best with documents that offer clear instructions about the procedure and tasks involved. For optimal results, consider the following document types:
Short, Simple Documents: Documents that are concise, straightforward, with few sections, and are generally 1 to 5 pages long.
Legible Content: Ensure the content is legible and well-structured in the PDF or image.
Note: Reference files of up to 10 MB are supported.
