Summary
With 2025-6, we bring you workstation training mode as well as other small improvements to MD Cloud. Workstation training mode is a crucial step in streamlining installations and training of MD Cloud. The full list of changes can be found below:
New Features
Workstation Training Mode (outside of QC) - Allowing non-Quebec users to put an MD Cloud workstation in training mode. This will allow restaurant staff to use all the POS functionality while the POS does not record any of the activity or sales executed in this mode to the back office. The QC version of this needs to be certified with RQ.
Improvements
Improvements to app logging.
Improved our updater to recognize a set up that does not have MEV service installed so that it does not update/install MEV service on those machines.
Bug fixes
Discounts/Promotions - Fixed issue where refunding a check that had a promotion on it was not reporting properly.
Fixed issue where refunding a check with tips was not refunding the tip.
