Workstation v1.1.154
Hub v0.10.326
📋 Summary
This release introduces Local Products, so your locations can add items that exist only on their own menu. Menu Versions now let you keep updating your live menu while a version is scheduled, and Promotions get day-and-time scheduling, a clearer setup screen and improved reliability.
Features marked Beta are being tested with a few customers first. If you'd like to take part early, contact our support team.
✨ New Features
Local Products (Beta) — Let each location add its own items, like a daily special or a local beer, without touching the shared menu. You decide which locations can create them and which reporting category they count under. Each location sets its own price and availability, and the item appears only there.
📈 Improvements
Menu Versions — Keep editing your live menu even while a new version is scheduled. Switch between Live and Draft at the top of the menu. Live changes reach your terminals right away. If your draft or scheduled version changes the same thing, you're warned before saving and can update the draft at the same time. Every live change is listed in version history.
Promotions — advanced scheduling — Make a promotion available only during set time blocks on specific days, like a weekday happy hour from 4 to 6 or a weekend brunch deal. A day can have several time blocks, and the POS offers the promotion only while one of them is running.
Promotions — choosing what's covered — A clearer layout for picking the items, categories and product labels a promotion applies to, and the labels it leaves out. (Beta) You can also exclude individual items or categories, and the most specific rule wins: an excluded item stays out even when its category is included.
Promotions — engine hardening (Beta) — Behind-the-scenes improvements to make promotions more reliable and ready to scale.
🔧 Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where closing a check whose items are all priced at $0.00 (for example, an internal requisition) showed "Error(s) in Transmitted MEVWEB Data" and asked for a payment authorization after you confirmed "No payment required".
Fixed an issue where tapping "Change Menu Schedule" on a revenue center with no menu schedules opened an empty "Menu Schedule Selection" window that couldn't be closed. The window can now be closed and explains that no menu schedule is set up.
