How do I download & export my files

When you're ready to share, print, or continue working on your project outside of Maket, you can export your files in a few different formats.

To export your files:

  1. Click the Export button in the top-right corner of your screen. You'll find it just to the left of your credit summary.

  2. Choose the format you'd like to download:

    • PDF - Best for sharing, printing, or reviewing your plan.

    • DXF - Best for opening your plan in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.

    • All renders - Downloads every render you've generated for the project.

Your download will begin automatically once the export is ready.

💡 Exporting and downloading require a paid plan.

Sharing a view-only link

You can publish any plan as a link that anyone can open — no Maket account, no login, and free on every plan, including Free.

To share a plan: open the share options and turn the share link on. You can then copy the link, or post it straight to LinkedIn or X.

What the people you share with can do:

  • View your floor plan with walls, fixtures and exterior dimensions

  • Switch between floors

  • Toggle between metric and imperial

  • Show or hide dimensions, furniture and room labels

  • Measure distances with the built-in measuring tool

  • View any renderings created

What they can't do: viewers can look and measure, but they can't edit your plan or export it. Exporting stays with you.

Turning it off: you can switch the share link off at any time, and the link stops working immediately.
