How it works
Draw the areas as separate rooms, with walls between them, exactly as you would normally.
Click the wall you want to hide.
Under Configuration, turn on the Invisible toggle.
The wall disappears from your plan.
Why this is worth doing
Behind the scenes, Maket still treats them as separate rooms. That means each one keeps:
Its own Room type
Its own furniture — you can Furnish room the kitchen and the living room separately, and get the right furniture in each
Its own finishes and design references, so the kitchen can have tile and the living room wood
The plan reads as a single open space, but you keep all the control of separate rooms.
Two things to know
Only internal walls can be made invisible. Exterior walls always stay visible.
A wall with a door or window in it can't be made invisible. Remove the opening first, then hide the wall.
Invisible walls can still be selected and moved, so you can keep adjusting the layout afterwards. To bring one back, select it and switch Invisible off again.
