Automatic Remediation - Oversharing

Updated over 3 months ago

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a policy to prevent oversharing in your environment.

Note: In the policy tab all checkboxes are AND operators, individual policies must be created for each scenario. For instance if you check the "Within Domain" and "To Outside Domain" checkboxes you will be looking for files shared via link to internal AND external domains, not either.

STEP ONE:

Sign into your Cloud Access Monitor Instance.

STEP TWO:

Select the "Enabled Policies" button below the desired Cloud Environment

STEP THREE:

Select the Add Policy button on the bottom right of the page.

STEP FOUR:

select your sources, risks to attach to the overshares (if any), and move on to the Sharing Column.
