We actually don’t recommend writing down the movie scenes, actors, and other elements for every lesson. If you’d like to jot down a few notes when you’re just getting started, that’s totally fine, but as a long-term habit, it’s usually not necessary.
Think of writing things down like using training wheels. It might feel helpful in the beginning, but the method itself is designed to do the heavy lifting for you by tapping into mnemonic and your memory palace. The more you lean into the process as it is laid out, the easier it becomes to remember the characters without needing extra notes.
