Please Note:  Importing data can only be done with a paid plan.

Before importing data it is important to have the following items setup in Mango Billing.

Users - All Users should be setup prior to importing.  Users (StaffID) are available for use on the .csv import worksheet.  User setup is accessed from the logged in user drop-down menu.

Client Types - All Client Types should be setup prior to importing.  Client Types (ClientTypeID) are available for use on the .csv import worksheet.  Client Types are accessed in Settings > Lists.

Group Description - If you would like to have clients grouped for reporting etc., it is important to setup these items before importing.  Group Descriptions (GroupDescriptionID) are available for use on the .csv import worksheet.  Group Descriptions are accessed in Settings > Lists.

The following columns on the .csv import worksheet should contain data"

Inactive - t or f (for true or false)

ContactRecord - t or f (for true or false)  Contact Records are non-client type records.

List Items or Staff Names that have been setup in Mango Billing should be entered exactly (case sensitive) the same on the .csv import worksheet.  (Example:  Client Type: 1040.  1040 should be entered on the spreadsheet.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you import your records and some import data was omitted or things did not align properly with the Mango List Items (noted above), please contact technical support to request that your imported data be removed so that you can import your records again.
