In the Pro version of our mapping tool, you have the ability to customize your map even further by uploading your own image to use as the background. Follow these simple steps to personalize your map.
Steps to customize your background
Access Visual Settings: In your Wordpress admin, open your Map in Edit mode and find find the Visual Settings tab.
Upload Image: Look for "Background Image" within Visual Settings. Choose the image file you want to use from your device and select upload. (Careful not to choose large file sizes).
Set your Map Background to Transparent: Make sure you set the background to transparent for the image to be visible. This image will also be zoomable. It should have the same aspect ratio as the map to fit perfectly.
Publish: After publishing your Map changes, your chosen image will now serve as the background for your map, automatically resizing as you zoom in or out.
