Video Tutorial: Customize and Share Your BioLink

What is BioLink?

The BioLink feature allows you to customize a landing page for social media, storefronts, blogs, shoppable Instagram posts, and more. Copy and paste your BioLink to any of your social media platforms to share with your followers.

How to share your BioLink

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Share” icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  3. Paste this link as needed.

Click Counts

To view click counts for your BioLink for the last 30 days:

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Analytics” icon in the top right corner

  3. View click counts on the right side of the screen when they appear
    **These are visible for the user only, and will not be displayed when your BioLink is clicked and opened.

Customizing your BioLink Page

Social Media Handles

To add or edit your social media handles:

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Pencil” icon in the top right corner

  3. Click the “Settings” icon on the left side of the screen.

Edit displayed platforms:

4. Click the Pencil icon to edit

5. Click the Trash icon to delete

6. Use the Toggle switch to turn displayed platforms on and off

7. Edit the platform and URL, then click the “Save” button

Add additional platforms:

8. Click the “Add New” button

9. Click “Select Platform”

10. Choose a new platform from the scroll menu.

11. Copy and paste the URL

12. Click the “Save” button

Edit Profile Picture

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Pencil” icon in the top right corner

  3. Click the “Edit” button

  4. Click “Edit Profile Picture” button

  5. Upload a photo

Customizable Links

Use this feature to display customized links, including but not limited to:

  • Storefronts

  • Blogs

  • Recipes

  • Campaigns

  • Websites

  • And more!

Edit displayed links:

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Pencil” icon in the top right corner

  3. Click the “Edit” button

  4. Use the Pencil icon to edit

  5. Use the Toggle switch to turn links on and off

  6. To delete a link, swipe to the left, then click the red “Delete” button when it appears

  7. To change the order of your links, press and hold the 6 dots to the left of the link, then drag and drop to reorganize

Add new links:

8. Click the “Add New” button at the bottom of the screen

9. Choose a display name for the link

10. Copy and paste the URL

11. Click the “Save” button

Click “Save” in the top right corner when you are done adding/editing links

Trending Now and Fan Favorites

Having these enabled helps your audience find your most viral products quickly and easily, without having to search your page. “Trending Now” displays your recent top clicked links, and “Fan Favorites” displays your historical top clicked links

Choose to display your “Trending Now” and “Fan Favorites”

  1. Click the “Bio+AutoDM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen

  2. Click the “Pencil” icon in the top right corner

  3. Use the toggle switches to Hide or Display Trending Now and/or Fan Favorites

Your Shops: Instagram and Facebook

If your Instagram and/or Facebook accounts are linked to the Markable app, all of your past posts will appear here. If you don’t want to use this feature, you don’t need to do anything further. Only the posts that you add a link to will appear in your BioLink. .

Change the title of your shops

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Pencil” icon in the top right corner

  3. Click on the “Pencil” icon on the right side of the screen

  4. Edit the title for both tabs here

  5. Click “Save”

Add a shoppable link:

  1. Click the “Bio+AutoDM tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen

  2. Click on the post you want to edit

  3. Under “Reply Preview” click the “Add Link” button

  4. Choose a display name for the link

  5. Add the link - There are two ways to add a link:

    1. Copy and paste the URL

    2. Search existing links, which gives the option to choose any of your saved Markable links: Choose from any of your saved products, boards, idea lists, collections, or Markable AI collages.

  6. Click the “Save” button

  7. Click the Star icon for the link you want to make shoppable from your BioLink

  8. Click “Save” in the upper right corner

Posts with shoppable links will have a link icon in the upper right corner.

*Any other links you add will be used for AutoDM replies. Please see the AutoDM tutorial for more details.

Unlinking Instagram and Facebook

You can now choose to unlink your Instagram and Facebook from within the Markable app, so you can switch to a new Instagram account if needed. Once you unlink, you will lose access to your AutoDM data for that account. You can only be linked to one account at a time, but if you re-link to an old account that was previously linked, you will regain access to the AutoDM data for that account.

How to Unlink or Switch:

  1. Click the “Bio+Auto DM” tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click the “Pencil” icon in the top right corner

  3. Next to your shops, click the “Pencil” icon on the right side of the screen

  4. Click “Unlink” or “Switch”

4a. When you Unlink, your Instagram account will be removed and you will see the “Connect with Instagram” button appear

4b. When you Switch, you will be prompted to enter new Instagram login credentials to add a new account
