As a buyer, my payment keeps getting rejected. What do I do?
If your payment is rejected, please contact your issuing bank to confirm your card details and authorization. Once verified, you may attempt your purchase again. If issues persist, reach out to Marketplace.Live support so we can assist.
As a fulfillment partner, I am concerned about payment fraud. What protections are in place?
Marketplace.Live takes fraud prevention extremely seriously. As the seller of record, we implement advanced fraud controls to protect both buyers and fulfillment partners.
Here’s how we protect you:
✅ Paid orders are guaranteed. If an order is marked as “Paid” by Marketplace.Live, you are protected—even if billing and shipping addresses do not match.
✅ Fraudulent chargebacks are covered. Marketplace.Live absorbs chargebacks related to unauthorized or fraudulent card use.
❌ Non-fraud chargebacks excluded. We do not cover chargebacks for “item not received” or “item not as described,” since these relate to fulfillment, not card fraud.
🚫 Do not cancel paid orders. If Marketplace.Live has processed the payment, there is no need to cancel or manually review for fraud—our fraud systems have already verified the order.
What this means for fulfillment partners:
Because billing and shipping addresses no longer need to match, you may see more orders from buyers sending gifts or ordering for others. This creates more sales opportunities while still keeping you protected.
This update reflects our ongoing commitment to making Marketplace.Live a safer, more reliable, and more profitable platform for our fulfillment partners.
👉 This makes Marketplace.Live the fraud risk holder (seller of record), while fulfillment partners just fulfill without worry.
