Compare two keywords for your product

See your options side by side before choosing your wording.

Written by Richie Peplin

Would ceramic mug or blue ceramic mug work better for your item? Compare helps you weigh the options.

Put them side by side

  1. Open Compare.

  2. Enter your first phrase and choose Add.

  3. Add a second phrase that also describes your product.

  4. Choose Visual for bars or Numbers for the figures.

You can compare up to 8 phrases, but two is a good place to start.

Look for a good fit

Read searches, engagement and competition together. More searches can also mean more competing listings. A smaller phrase may describe your item more closely.

Look at the sample products, too. Would a shopper using this phrase expect something like yours? You can also compare the time patterns and prices.

Keep the phrase you can explain: “Blue ceramic mug names the color and the thing I'm selling.” Save it in a Keyword List.

Still unsure? Ask Marma to explain the difference using your product details. These numbers help you choose; they cannot promise how many visits or orders you'll get.
