Maude is on our case and we’re working on adding this to your account soon. We’ll let you know when and how this works when it’s ready.
In the meantime, cats rarely cooperate with weigh ins (they like to keep their weight a secret) so here are some tips for kitty weighing:
Home scales - Depending on the weight of your cat or the sensitivity of your scales you might be able to put your cat on the scale and read the measurement from there. If they aren't feeling like staying still you can first jump on the scale yourself and make a note of your own weight (Don’t worry, we don’t need to know this), then repeat the process while holding your reluctant weighee. Then it’s just a matter of deducting your weight from the measurement of you both.
Kitchen scales - Using a cardboard box or bowl that your cat can fit in works best for this type of scale, (just remember to zero the scale or subtract the weight of the empty cat containing vessel later).
Luggage scale - If you happen to have the type of cat that likes to sit in bags, this can be a handy way to weigh. Get them to sit in their favourite bag for life or Marro tote if they prefer, Maude recommends not using anything plastic, and use the luggage scale to measure the hanging weight, then it’s time to let the cat out of the bag.
