Can I Switch From Annual to Monthly Payments at Renewal?

For customers who currently pay for their insurance annually and would like to switch to monthly payments when their policy renews.

Updated over a week ago

When Can You Make the Switch?

  • You can switch during the first 13 days of your renewal period.

  • You cannot switch:

    • 1 day before your renewal date

    • After your policy has renewed

What Happens After You Switch?

  • Your first monthly payment will be taken on your renewal date.

  • That date will become your new monthly payment date.

Example:
If your policy renews on 24 October, you’ll be charged on 24 October, and future payments will be taken on the 24th of each month.

Good to Know

  • If you previously turned off auto-renewal, switching to monthly payments won’t automatically restart your policy. You’ll need to manually confirm the renewal.

  • You won’t receive a confirmation email, but you can check the updated payment plan under Renewal payment plan in your account.

Missed the 13-Day Window?

If it’s already 1 day before your renewal or your policy has already renewed, you won’t be able to change your payment method. At that point, your current setup (monthly or annual) will stay in place until your next renewal.
