How do claims work on a MultiCar account?

Learn what happens if someone in your MultiCar account needs to make a claim.

Each policy in a MultiCar account operates independently for claims. This means:

  • A claim affects only the specific policy involved

  • Other policies in the account are not impacted (no price increase, NCD loss, etc.)

  • Each policyholder is responsible for their own claims and excess payments

Making a Claim

  • Policyholders can report claims directly online or via live chat

  • The Account Holder can view the status of all claims from the app

Claim Impact

  • The policy with the claim may lose some or all of its NCD

  • Renewal pricing will reflect the claim, but only for the impacted policy

  • Other account members’ pricing will remain unaffected
