All Marshmallow car insurance policies are set to auto-renew by default. This is stated in the Terms of Business Agreement you agreed to when you first bought your policy.
Auto-renewal helps avoid gaps in cover. Car insurance is a legal requirement in the UK, so this helps prevent you from being uninsured.

We notify you in advance
We send you an email 35 days before your renewal date. It includes:
A link to view your renewal documents in the Marshmallow app.
Your new renewal price.
Step-by-step instructions on how to stop the renewal if you no longer want to stay with Marshmallow.
👉 Tip: If you cannot find the email, check your spam or junk folder. Make sure the email linked to your Marshmallow account is up to date.
Can I stop the renewal?
Yes, you can. However, you cannot turn off auto-renewal in the Marshmallow app. To turn off auto-renewal, please speak to a member of our live chat team.
