How do I claim back my excess with Excess Protection?

For Marshmallow customers who have already purchased Excess Protection and need to reclaim their excess after a fault accident.

How do I start a claim?

To get your excess refunded:

  1. Pay your excess to the garage or repairer

  2. Contact Legal Protection Group (our claims partner)

  3. Provide all required documentation, including bank details

Refunds are usually processed within 24 working hours after submission of valid documents.

What information do I need to provide?

When you contact Legal Protection Group, be ready to share:

  • Your Marshmallow policy number

  • The amount of excess paid

  • Bank details for the refund

  • Any documents proving your payment and claim status
