What if I have two addresses or keep my car somewhere else?

This article is for policyholders who split their time between two locations or store their car at a different address.

We understand that your living and car storage arrangements might not be straightforward. Here's how we handle it.

Which address should I use for my policy?

Always use your main residential address, which should match the address on your driving licence.

If you're unsure which address to use, ask yourself:

  • Where am I registered to vote?

  • Where does most of my post go?

  • Which address is on my driving licence?

What if I live at two addresses?

There are two ways we handle this:

  1. You live at both addresses and drive your car at both:

    • We’ll make note on your policy to reflect both locations.

    • If one address has a higher risk (e.g. higher crime rate), your premium will increase accordingly.

  2. You live at both, but the car stays at one:

    • If your car is only kept at your permanent address, we won’t charge extra for the second home.

    • Example: You live in Surrey but work in London and only keep your car in Surrey — we’ll price your policy based on the Surrey address.
