How do I remove or update a nominee on my policy?

This article is for Marshmallow policyholders who already have a nominee added to their policy and want to update or remove them.

If your circumstances change and you'd like to remove or change your nominated trusted person (nominee), it's quick and easy to do so.

How to remove a nominee

To remove someone as a nominee on your policy:

  1. Speak to our Customer Support team.

  2. Let us know that you'd like to remove your existing nominee.

  3. We'll remove their details and confirm once the update has been completed.

Once removed, the person will no longer be able to:

  • Contact Marshmallow on your behalf

  • Request any changes to your policy

  • Access or discuss any policy information

How to update a nominee

If you’d like to change your nominee (for example, appoint someone new):

  1. Speak to our Customer Support team and let us know you'd like to update your nominee.

  2. We'll ask you for the new nominee’s full name, date of birth, postcode, and contact details.

  3. We’ll contact your new nominee to get their consent.

  4. Once they’ve confirmed, we’ll update your profile and notify you when the change is live.

You can update or remove a nominee at any time—you're always in control.
