We often receive questions about No Claims Discount (NCD), so here’s everything you need to know:

Definition of No Claims Discount (NCD):

NCD is a reward system for drivers who haven’t made an insurance claim. Each claim-free year increases your NCD, leading to greater discounts on your insurance premiums.

Other Names:

NCD is also referred to as No Claims Bonus or Bonus Malus, depending on your location. We accept all these terms, whether earned in the UK or internationally.

How to verify your NCD:

  • At the end of each policy year, your insurer will inform you of your updated NCD status.

  • You can send in the renewal notice or an official letter from their existing insurer. It should contain:

    • Number of Bonus-Malus/No Claims Discount

    • Details of any claim

    • Policy start and expiry date

    • The contact details of your previous insurer including the telephone number, email address, and postal address.

International NCD Acceptance:

Yes, we accept NCD from other countries to ensure we capture your full driving history and maximize your savings.

Important Note:

We cannot verify NCD documents until you sign up for a policy with us. Failure to provide proof may result in the loss of your NCD discount and additional payment requirements.
