Does my policy cover me to drive other cars?

You can only drive someone else’s car if you have a Marshmallow Plus plan.

What level of cover does Marshmallow Plus offer for other cars?

If you have a Marshmallow Plus plan, your cover for driving other cars is third-party only and excludes additional drivers. Third-party insurance covers injury and damage to others, but does not cover damage to the car you’re driving and does not pay compensation if you are injured.

This cover does not apply when the other car is not owned by you, your partner or anyone permanently living at your address.

It also does not apply to hire, rental or courtesy cars.

Are there any restrictions to driving other cars?

There are some restrictions though so please refer to your policy documents for more information. You’ll find them in the app, or your web-based Marshmallow account.

Can I drive other cars if I have a Marshmallow Lightest, Essential or Original policy?

If you are on Marshmallow Lightest, Essential or Original, you are not covered to drive other vehicles and this is not something that we can add mid-policy.
