Insurance documents often contain complex jargon. This guide explains each policy document you’ll receive from Marshmallow in simple, clear English.
Once your policy is created, you can download six main documents from the Marshmallow app or your online account. Each one contains important information about your cover — please read them carefully.
Which policy documents will I receive?
You’ll receive the following documents:
Certificate of Motor Insurance
Motor Insurance Schedule
Policy Wording
Summary of Cover
Motor Insurance IPID (Insurance Product Information Document)
Terms of Business Agreement
👉 If you buy add-ons like Breakdown Cover or Legal Expenses, you’ll also get documents from our third-party providers (AXA, The AA, or Lawshield). These include a Cover Schedule, Policy Wording, and IPID for each add-on.
