If you pay by direct debit this will be through our payment partner Premfina.
When will my payment be taken?
If you pay via direct debit with Premfina, your payment will be taken between 9am - 5pm on the day your payment is due. If your due date falls on weekend or public holiday it will be taken the following working day.
Why did my payment fail?
There are multiple reasons why a payment could have failed. Here are the most common:
You had insufficient funds in your account at the time Premfina processed the payment.
Your direct debit may be cancelled
Will Premfina reattempt the payment if it fails?
If you have missed a direct debit payment with Premfina, we will email you to let you know. Premfina, will attempt to take the payment again within 9 days.
Is there a late payment fee?
Premfina add a £27.50 late fee as per their terms and conditions for each missed direct debit payment.
How long do I have to pay for the missed payment?
If the second payment attempt with Premfina fails, your final deadline will be 21 days from the day your payment was first attempted. You must make this payment before 11am.
If you do not make the payment by this deadline your policy will be cancelled.
