Why is my car not showing on the the MID (Motor Insurance Database, also known as askMID) website?

If you can't find your car on the MID, please don't worry - this is because the MID can take a few days to update.

As soon as your policy with us is activated, our system automatically sends details of your car across to the MID. It can take up to 7 working days before the customer (you) can see this on the MID website.

Please be assured that you are legally insured to drive from the start date of your policy and the MID entry will always be backdated to that day.
