An article to help those who have just moved to the UK and are staying in a temporary address

We typically require customers to have a permanent address to take out a policy, defined by a minimum 6-month tenancy agreement. However, we make exceptions for temporary residency in certain cases:

Customers who have just arrived in the UK:

If you've recently moved to the UK and don't yet have a permanent address, such as staying in an Airbnb, we can cover you under a temporary address. Please provide proof of your temporary address. Once you have a permanent address, we'll need proof of that.

Customers in transition periods:

If you're temporarily staying in an Airbnb or similar during a move (e.g., waiting to move into a new home), we can cover you with proof of your forward-dated address. We'll quote you the correct price for your new address.

Occupational residences:

Residences like hospital accommodations, school premises, or university housing necessary for your job are acceptable.
