Marshmallow Lightest is the entry-level comprehensive insurance plan offered by Marshmallow. It’s designed for drivers who want essential protection against vehicle damage and third-party liability, without paying for extras they may not need.
What's included in Marshmallow Lightest?

What is not included?
The following features are not included in Marshmallow Lightest, unless you purchase them as optional add-ons:
Glass damage (e.g. windscreen repairs/replacements)
Courtesy car while your vehicle is being repaired
Audio & communication equipment (manufacturer or aftermarket)
Personal belongings inside the vehicle
Medical expenses for injuries following an accident
Driving other cars (unless stated in your Certificate of Motor Insurance)
Comprehensive cover in Europe

Are there any restrictions?
Yes, Marshmallow Lightest excludes cover in the following situations:
If your vehicle is SORN registered or does not have a valid MOT
If you're under the influence of alcohol or drugs during an incident
If the keys were left in the car or the car was left unlocked
If the wrong type of fuel was used (mis-fuelling)
If you use the vehicle for racing, motor trade, or hire and reward purposes
Where am I covered?
UK: Full comprehensive cover applies within the UK.
Europe: You have 30 days of minimum legal cover while driving in EU countries and select others. This covers liability to others, but not damage to your own vehicle.
Can I make changes or cancel my policy?
Policy changes: Mid-term updates may include a £25 admin fee (for Marshmallow Lightest).
Cancellations: You’ll be charged a £30 fee if you cancel within 14 days. Additional cancellation fees may apply after this period—check your Policy Wording for details.
