Study, Student Portal, online training, remote training.

The Study feature allows you to share online training material with your students through the Student Portal.

Access Study from the navigation bar at the top of your Dashboard. 

To start uploading content, first select a style from the drop-down menu at the top.

Click on Add New Item under one of the ranks. 

Add a title for your item and then either upload a PDF, image or insert a link to a training video. Hit Save Content. 

When linking videos from YouTube we recommend making them Unlisted, so the content is private to students viewing it through the portal. Here is a quick guide on how to do it: https://wiki.umbc.edu/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=31198917

Re-arrange your content by dragging and dropping the tiles. 

To invite students to train online, select Student Portal in the settings menu. 

Search for individual students to invite or select all. 

You can revoke access at anytime by clicking the orange Revoke button next to a students name. 

STUDENT PORTAL SECTION 

Once you have invited a student to online training, they will be sent an email with a link to create a login. 

Students can access training material for their current rank and all ranks that sit below that. If there are training materials that you want to be accessible to everyone, we recommend uploading to the lowest rank in the style.
