Exporting Your LinkedIn Connections

To integrate your LinkedIn connections into Marvin Recruiter, you need to provide us with an export of this data. Here's how to proceed.

Written by Louise Lefort

1. Export from LinkedIn

To ensure up-to-date information in line with LinkedIn's latest updates, follow the official procedure detailed here 👉 Export your connections from LinkedIn.

Once the request has been made, allow 24 to 48 hours before receiving the file by email.

2. Send Us the File

Once you have received the export, send us the file:

  • As part of your onboarding: send it by email to your CSM.

  • Outside of your onboarding: send it via the chatbot.

A delay of one to two weeks will be required to import your data.

ℹ️ Good to Know

Quality of Exported Data

Data from a LinkedIn export is limited. The file generally contains:

  • Last name

  • First name

  • Email (only if authorized by the contact)

  • Current company

  • Job title

  • LinkedIn profile URL

⚠️ This information is basic and depends heavily on each connection's privacy settings.

Candidates or Contacts?

When sending the file, please specify whether profiles should be imported:

  • as candidates

  • as contacts/clients

If all profiles do not have the same status, please indicate this directly in the Excel/CSV file, via a dedicated column specifying the type for each row.
