Exporting and Anonymizing a CV

Written by Louise Lefort

You will find the detailed steps below.

If you prefer a video format, the video tutorial is also available (in french).

Exporting a CV in Marvin allows you to generate a document ready to send to a client, or editable if needed. You can also anonymize the profile in just a few clicks.

1. Access the Candidate Profile

Go to the relevant candidate's profile card. In the top right corner, click on the "Export" button.

2. Choose the Export Format

Two formats are available:

  • PDF: ideal for a CV ready to be sent to a client.

  • Word: recommended if you want to make edits before sending.

Select the format that suits your needs.

3. Enable Anonymization (if needed)

If you want to make the CV anonymous (hide first name/last name + contact details):

  • Enable the "Anonymize profile" button.

  • You can also check the "Anonymize company names" option if you want to hide the names of the companies the candidate has worked for.

This allows you to share a profile without sensitive information, depending on the recruitment context.

4. Select the Information to Display

In the "Display details" section, choose the elements you want to appear on the CV generated by Marvin. This allows you to customize the level of detail in the exported document depending on the recipient.

5. Launch the Export

Once your choices are made, click "Export".

  • If you chose the PDF format, the document opens directly in your browser.

  • If you chose the Word format, the file is downloaded to your computer.
