⚠️ Merging is permanent. It cannot be undone. The deleted profile will be permanently erased.
1. Merging a Candidate
Accessing the Merge
Go to the relevant candidate's profile.
Click on the gear icon at the top right.
Select Merge (not Delete — make sure to click Merge).
Selecting the Profile to Merge
A window opens. On the left, search for the name of the profile you want to merge with the current one.
Managing Information
If a piece of information only exists on the left profile, it will automatically be added to the right profile.
If information exists on both profiles, the one on the right is kept by default.
Replacing a Piece of Information
If you want to keep information from the left profile:
Click on the red triangle with exclamation mark next to the information.
A window opens with the option: "Update in the final profile".
Select Yes to replace the information.
The information will then be integrated into the right profile.
Once you have checked everything, click Merge.
⚠️ The deletion of the left profile is permanent.
2. Merging a Company
Accessing the Merge
Go to the company's profile.
Click on the blue "Merge" button at the top centre of the profile.
Selecting the Company to Merge
In the window that opens on the left, type the name of the other company to merge.
Managing Information
By default, the information from the right profile is kept. Unlike candidate merging, actions are performed via buttons:
"Overwrite" button (red box with trash icon)
Replaces the information on the right with that on the left.
Once clicked, the button turns green with the label "Imported".
"Import" button
Adds additional information without deleting what already exists.
Used when multiple pieces of information can coexist.
Once you have checked and selected the data to keep, click Merge.
⚠️ As with candidates, the merge is permanent and cannot be undone.
Key Takeaways
The right profile is always the one that is kept.
