Available Variables
In the template creation interface, you will find the list of available variables:
Variable | Description |
Displays "Mr." or "Mrs." depending on the profile
The candidate's or contact's first name
The candidate's or contact's last name
The company currently associated with the profile
The job title linked to the project
The client company linked to the current process
How to Use Them?
In your template, place the cursor where you want to insert the variable.
Copy and paste the variable from the list displayed in the interface (e.g.:
{{prénom}}).Make sure to keep the double curly brackets
{{and}}— without them, the variable will not be recognized and will appear as plain text in the message.
✅ Example: Hello {{civilité}} {{nom}}, I am reaching out to you regarding the position of {{titre de l'annonce}} at {{entreprise liée au process}}.
Do These Variables Work Everywhere?
Yes, the same variables are available in all three types of templates:
📧 Email templates
💼 LinkedIn templates
💬 WhatsApp templates
Things to Watch Out For
⚠️ Candidate with Multiple Simultaneous Processes
If a candidate is in process on multiple projects at the same time, the variables {{titre de l'annonce}} and {{entreprise liée au process}} will generate an error when sending, as Marvin won't know which process to use.
In that case:
Remove these variables from your message for that send
Or manually replace them with the desired text
⚠️ Missing Field
If the data corresponding to the variable is absent from the profile (e.g.: no civility filled in), the variable will appear empty in the sent message. Make sure profiles are properly filled in.
⚠️ Case Sensitivity and Accents
Variables must be copied and pasted exactly as they appear in the interface. A typo or incorrect capitalization will prevent the variable from working.
