If you no longer need a store, archiving it is a straightforward way to permanently remove it from your active list. Once archived, the store will no longer be accessible to customers or included in your operations. However, because archiving is permanent and cannot be undone, proceed with caution.

Steps to Archive a Store

Navigate to the Stores Section

  • Go to the Store Catalog section in the main menu.

  • Here, you’ll see a list of all your active stores.

Initiate the Store Archive Process

  • Find the store you want to archive in the list.

  • Click on the trash can icon for the corresponding store.

Confirm Your Action

  • A confirmation dialog will appear, reminding you that archiving is permanent.

  • Carefully review the information and click Confirm to finalize the action.

Verify Store Removal

  • Once archived, the store will no longer appear in your active list.

  • Double-check the Stores section to confirm the store has been successfully removed.

Best Practices for Archiving a Store

  1. Check Dependencies: Ensure the store isn’t linked to active campaigns or promotions that could be impacted by its removal.

  2. Communicate with Customers: If the store is active, notify customers about the closure in advance to avoid confusion.
