Creating a product in Mash Commerce Cloud™ is the first step to building your product catalog and making it available for sale. Follow this guide to understand how to create a product and configure its details.

Steps to Create a Product

Navigate to the Products Section

  • In the portal, go to the Product Catalog tab in the main menu.

  • This is where you can view and manage all products in your catalog.

Click “+ Create Product”

  • Locate the + Create Product button and click it to start creating a new product.

Enter Required Product Details

You will be prompted to fill in several mandatory fields. These details cannot be edited after submission, so ensure accuracy:

  • MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price): Set the retail price for your product.

  • Bottles in Case: Specify the number of bottles included in a case.

  • Age: Indicate the age of the product (e.g., years of aging for spirits).

  • Proof: Enter the alcohol proof value (e.g., 80 proof).

  • Product Type: Select the type of product (e.g., whiskey, gin, vodka).

  • Container: Define the container type (e.g., bottle, can).

  • State of Production: Identify the state where the product is produced.

Important: Once you submit these details, they cannot be edited through the portal. Future changes will require contacting Partner Success.

Submit Your Product

  • After completing the required fields, click Submit to save the product.

  • You will now see the product listed in the Products section.

Best Practices for Creating Products

Be Accurate with Fixed Fields: Double-check all required fields (like MSRP and proof) before submitting, as changes require manual assistance once submitted.
