We usually have goals in our ad campaigns for "this month" or for a specific time period. To be able to estimate how we are doing against our goal, we need to understand how many days have passed of the current month, and how many days are left.

To do this we have to use Custom fields type "Date"

Example: Calculate daily budget for a Meta Campaign

If we want to calculate the daily budget we need to meet our monthly budget, we need:

First, create a "Number"​ custom field with the monthly budget and then add that value in the table:

Second, we need to have the Spent $ from Meta available at the table:

Third, we need to create a formula for the remaining budget:

​

Fourth, to create a custom field type Date for "today":

​

Fifth, we need to create a field type Date for "end of month"

​

Then we need a formula to calculate how many days are left in the month:

Finally, calculate the daily budget:

The daily budget is going to be updated in real-time as days pass by, and the spent $ value from Meta is updated and the remaining days to the end of the month are also updated:

You can do the same to calculate how many conversions you have to generate to reach your monthly goal.
