Using the Close Integration with Master Metrics you can:
Create visual dashboards with your Close data and answer questions such as:
How many leads were created per month and assigned to a certain rep?
What was the conversion rate per acquisition source per month over the past year?
What’s the conversion rate per pipeline stage?
What is the performance per rep: assigned leads, conversion rates, closes, and more
Are my Facebook ads bringing in more qualified leads than Youtube?
Add data from other Sources to your Dashboards, such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, Linkedin, TikTok, etc
Schedule data exports from Close to Google Sheets automatically
Calculate the cost per each stage of the funnel for each Ad Campaign in real-time
Dashboards
1) Tiles
You can add high level KPIs using Tiles:
When adding a New Tile you can choose:
the date: this week, this month, a customized date, etc
a specific metric: count Leads, count Opportunities, Opportunities Values, and Activity metrics
the date type:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to filter the date by any date field possible. Such as, lead date created, or any custom field date, or even opportunity dates
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to filter the date by Opportunity Created date, Opportunity Updated date and Opportunity Won Date
If you choose activity metrics they will be filtered by the date they were created
filters:
if you choose to count Leads you will be able to filter them selecting a Smartview
if you choose Opportunity metrics you will be able to filter them selecting a Lead Smartview, an Opportunity status or the Opportunity assigned user
if you choose Activity metrics, you will be able to filter them by lead smartview and/or assigned user
2) Bar/Line/Column Charts
When creating a new chart you can choose:
the date: this week, this month, a customized date, etc
how to group the date in the columns of the chart: by day, week, month, quarter or year
a specific metric: count Leads, count Opportunities, Opportunities Values, and Activity metrics
the date type:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to filter the date by any date field possible. Such as, lead date created, or any custom field date, or even opportunity dates
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to filter the date by Opportunity Created date, Opportunity Updated date and Opportunity Won Date
If you choose activity metrics they will be filtered by the date they were created
how to split the metrics in the chart:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to split them by any text or option custom field inside Close
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to split them by any text or option lead custom field inside Close, and by Opportunity status label and assigned user
If you choose activity metrics you will be able to split them by assigned user
filters:
if you choose to count Leads you will be able to filter them selecting a Smartview
if you choose Opportunity metrics you will be able to filter them selecting a Lead Smartview, an Opportunity status or the Opportunity assigned user
if you choose Activity metrics, you will be able to filter them by lead smartview and/or assigned user
Example 1: Opportunities created by User grouped by Month for this year
Example 2: Meetings by user grouped by week for the last 90 days
Example 3: Opportunities Won by User per month
3) Pie Charts
When creating a new pie chart you can choose:
the date: this week, this month, a customized date, etc
a specific metric: count Leads, count Opportunities, Opportunities Values, and Activity metrics
the date type:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to filter the date by any date field possible. Such as, lead date created, or any custom field date, or even opportunity dates
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to filter the date by Opportunity Created date, Opportunity Updated date and Opportunity Won Date
If you choose activity metrics they will be filtered by the date they were created
how to split the metrics in the chart:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to split them by any text or option custom field inside Close
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to split them by any text or option lead custom field inside Close, and by Opportunity status label and assigned user
If you choose activity metrics you will be able to split them by assigned user
filters:
if you choose to count Leads you wil be able to filter them selecting a Smartview
if you choose Opportunity metrics you will be able to filter them selecting a Lead Smartview, an Opportunity status or the Opportunity assigned user
if you choose Activity metrics, you will be able to filter them by lead smartview and/or assigned user
Example: Opportunities created by Status
4) Tables
Tables are different from charts since they let you add multiple metrics (from multiple Sources) in the same table
When creating a table you can choose:
the date: this week, this month, a customized date, etc
how to group the date in the columns of the table: by day, week, month, quarter or year
you can add as many metrics as you want, if you choose to add one from the Close Source, you can choose between: count Leads, count Opportunities, Opportunities Values, and Activity metrics
the date type:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to filter the date by any date field possible.
5) Power Tables and Google Sheets Export
When creating a Power Table you can choose metrics and then split them in Rows and Columns as you see fit
You can choose:
the date: this week, this month, a customized date, etc
metric: you can add Count Leads or any number of Opportunity metrics or any number of Activity metrics. But you can't add Lead and Opportunity or Activity metrics at the same time
the date type:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to filter the date by any date field possible. Such as, lead date created, or any custom field date, or even opportunity dates
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to filter the date by Opportunity Created date, Opportunity Updated date and Opportunity Won Date
If you choose activity metrics they will be filtered by the date they were created
how to split the metrics in the rows and columns:
if you choose to Count Leads, you will be able to split them by date (day, week, month, quarter or year) and any text or option custom field inside Close
if you choose Opportunity metrics, you will be able to split them by date (day, week, month, quarter or year) and by any text or option lead custom field inside Close, and by Opportunity status label and assigned user
If you choose activity metrics you will be able to split them by by date (day, week, month, quarter or year) and by assigned user
filters:
if you choose to count Leads you will be able to filter them selecting a Smartview
if you choose Opportunity metrics you will be able to filter them selecting a Lead Smartview, an Opportunity status or the Opportunity assigned user
if you choose Activity metrics, you will be able to filter them by lead smartview and/or assigned user
You can then export the Power Table to google sheets automatically using our extension. See how this works in this article
6) Using calculated metrics to calculate conversion rates and more
Inside Custom Metrics you can create Calculated Metric:
Example: Opportunities created to Won conversion rate %
If we want to calculate how many of the opportunities created actually closed to won, we can create the following formula:
First clicking in Add Metric, we will choose the Close Source, then the Count Opportunities Metric, then date created and click Add:
2. Once added the metric we enter the "/" and click Add Metric again:
3. We will choose the Close Source, then the Count Opportunities Metric, then date created, and adding a filter for the Status = Won:
You can create metrics to calculate conversion rates per Assigned User or by acquisition source or any data you have inside Close using the smartview filter
Once created the calculated metrics, you can add them in the Widgets (Tiles, Tables, Charts, etc) choosing the Custom Metrics in the "Metrics Family" field:
Cost per Qualified leads per Ad Campaign
Adding Close data to your Campaign Overview table will let you answer questions such as:
How many qualified leads is a specific Meta campaign generating?
How many proposals sent this month from each Google campaign?
How many sales from each Linkedin campaign?
What is the cost per funnel stage by ad campaign or by ad account?
Match data from your Ad Campaigns to data inside Close
Calculate the cost per each stage of the funnel for each Ad Campaign
You need to create a Table in Overview by Campaign, choosing the Ad Accounts:
Then you need to add the "Amount Spent" metric to the table:
To add the Close data you need to create Custom Fields:
You need to choose Type "CRM" and then Close:
In "Campaign field" you need to choose the custom field inside Close to match the campaign name:
You can use the smartview option to filter Leads or Opportunities as you see fit.
For example, you can track opportunities that reached a certain stage in the pipeline for each ad campaign.
Finally, you can use Formulas to calculate the Cost per Lead, Cost per marketing qualified lead, cost per sales qualified lead, etc
