Sponsor Quests™ are an action or series of actions that are attached to an event in order to assist with crowdfunding at no cost to the partner or their viewers. Once completed, each action contributes a set amount of money to a prize pool and potentially a partners account.

These actions are funded by one of three sources:

  • Premium Platform Sponsors like GameStop or 24 Hour Fitness

  • The Matcherino Partnership Program promoting members

  • Individuals or companies with a need to market to a broad esports audience

Sponsor Quests™ pay rates are defined by the creator and are visible on the platform as long as they’re funded. Each Sponsor Quests™ action can be used once per viewer for the duration of the campaign funding. Actions from a Premium Platform Sponsors are refreshed approximately every few weeks to provide communities with repeated opportunities to contribute to a variety of events.

Sponsor Quests™ are currently broken down into several types of actions:

  • Twitter Follows

  • Twitter Retweets

  • YouTube Likes

  • YouTube Subscribes

  • Direct Page Visits

Each action has a slightly different set of required steps, but all will follow the general framework. The viewer will :

  1. Log into their Matcherino account

  2. Click an eligible Sponsor Quests™ on an event page

  3. Agree to allow the platform access to their account on the relevant service

  4. Follow the prompts to authorize and verify their action

Once the action is validated and completed, which may take a few minutes, it will turn green and the sponsors money will be deposited into the prize pool.

If there is a partner cut attached to a Sponsor Quests™(all Premium Platform Sponsors have one), those funds will be deposited into a partners wallet at the same time that their prize pool is paid. This money is a partners to keep and can be used to fund events, cash out, pay staff, etc.

Other Special Conditions

Sponsor Quests™ can also be geofenced by their creator to suit their specific marketing needs. This means that viewers who don’t live in eligible countries will see an unclickable grey quest.

Unfortunately there isn’t anything they can do to change this. Viewers caught trying to circumvent this restriction will be banned and any sort of fraud is the responsibility of the partner to address immediately. Widespread cases may be grounds for immediate termination from the partnership program.

Individual sponsors can also whitelist specific partners to have access to a Sponsor Quests™. This should allow a partner with their own sponsor to bring in unique opportunities for event funding and interacting with its community.
