How do I join a tournament?

Joining a tournament is easy. Simply go to www.Matcherino.com/supercell, navigate to the event that you want (or go directly there via a link) and click “join tournament” via the left. You will be prompted to sign in and register with your Supercell ID. This is so that the automated bracketing functions properly. (Reminder: registering for the tourney directly is different from creating a team on the Matcherino site as a whole. You must create a team through the tournament to be registered for the tournament.)

You will also need to answer any questions that an organizer may have set, and either register a new team or join one. If “free agents” are enabled, you will be able to join as a free agent which makes you a single player that can be picked up by other teams.

How do I sign up my team?

When signing up for a tournament, you can create a new team, join a team already signed up, or sign up as a previous team.

New Teams are automatically set to “Private” which means you will need to invite members to your new team or swap it to “Public” to let others join.

You can join a team by either accepting an invitation for one, by finding a “Public” team in the list of teams, or by joining a previous team that is now signed up.

Players can NOT sign up other players for an event. Even if you join with a previous team, other players from that team will still have to sign up for the event.

How can I invite friends to my team?

Once you have created a team for a tournament, you can add or invite members to it.

Navigate to the tournament that you have signed up for and click “Manage Team”. A window will pop up with three options. You can:

-Select an existing Matcherino user

-Invite a player via email

-Sending them an invite link

How can I kick someone from my team?

Team changes must be done before the event starts. If the event has not started, go to the tournament that you have signed up for and click “Manage Team”. You will see a list of your team members/invitees along with a red “x” button that allows you to remove them.

How can I talk to my teammates

Most organizers will have a Discord channel that you must join in order to participate. Matcherino recommends that you try to contact your teammate via the tournament Discord.

How do I check in?

Check-in occurs before a tournament starts to signal that you are here. Not all organizers will have this enabled, but if they do, team captains will have to check-in their team before the tournament starts.

How do I find my match?

Thanks to the automated bracketing, a match invite will be sent to you in the Brawl Stars app. If the organizer has “Match Readying” enabled, you will have to “Ready” for your match. Go the bracket of the tournament you are playing in and find your match. Click it to access your “Match Card”. Your “Match Card” will present you with several options - one of which allows you to click “Ready” and receive your match invite.

How do I ban certain brawlers?

This depends on the format of the tournament. Power League tournaments have banning that occurs in-game. However, if the tournament format is “normal”, team captains must ban Brawlers in during banning phase within the “Match card” of their corresponding match, which can be found in the “Bracket” of the tournament. Simply navigate to the bracket and click on your match card.

There’s been an issue with the tournament. What do I do?

In the “Match card” of your match, which can be found in the bracket, you have the option to “call an admin” and use the chat to speak with them. Alternatively, many tournament organizers may rely on discord for tournament communication.

I won a tournament! How do I collect my winnings?

Tournament winnings are sent to the corresponding player at the end of a tournament once the organizer finalizes it. You can find your winnings within your Matcherino profile which is accessed via the top right. On the right hand side, you can enter the amount that you wish to cash out and cash out via paypal or bank transfer. Please note that bank transfers take significantly longer than Paypal’s instant transfer.
