Add plan markers for scope of work

Mark the plans with a variety of markers. Complete easy takeoffs, estimate quantities, and tie the scope to a floor plan or mood board

5. Click "SET SCALE" or "CHANGE SCALE"*

The first time you add markers on a project for an area, polygon or Linear Feet markers, you will need to set the scale. Currently, plan markers are only measured using the imperial units of measurement in feet and inches and plan markers are not yet available in the metric system.

*Skip to step 9 if you have already set your scale.

Click "SET SCALE" or  "CHANGE SCALE"*

6. To scale your plan page, drag the yellow ruler to an area you can measure.

7. Drag yellow ruler to the desired length

Using the handle, drag the ruler to the desired length of room or item you are using as a scale.

8. Click on Save

You can save for this page only or all pages.

9. Select the type of marker you want, and drop or drag the marker.

With the area tool, you can drag a box to measure the square footage. It will also show you the dimensions.

With the point marker tool, you can mark things like fixtures. Each marker will add 1 to the qty.

With the Polygon tool, you can highlight and create takeoffs for more obscure shapes.

With the Linear feet tool, measure things like trim, cabinetry and furniture. Press "enter" to stop drawing.

Select the type of marker you want, and drop or drag the marker.

10. Click on Save
