Archiving projects

How to archive projects in Materio, and where to see your archived projects. In Materio, there is no deleting projects. Instead, you can archive your project.

Written by Mary Beth

1. Navigate to PROJECT DASHBOARD

This is where all of your past and current projects are located

2. Click on the status indicator on the right side of the project

3. Click on CLOSED

Select the reason for closing the project from the dropdown menu.

βœ… Tip: the previous phase, "Close Out" means you're in the process of closing out the project, tying up any lose ends, getting final invoices out etc. Closed means you are completely done and do not need to take any further actions in the project.

5. (Optional) Enter a note in the note field

For example, "client paused", or "use remaining retainer on their next project".

6. Click on UPDATE

7. Now your project is archived!

You'll now find it under the "Archived projects" section from your dashboard. If you need to reopen a project, you can find it there and update its status to reopen it. Archived projects do not count towards your project limit, and you can reference them at any time as read-only.
