To track time as you go about your day, you can use Materio's Timer feature to record what you're doing, for what project, and for how long. These time entries are automatically fed into client invoices when you bill for hours and also are automatically accounted for in your financial reports, so you can easily see in an instant how much you are spending on various projects.

The timer is located in the upper right, everywhere you go in Materio, and always shows the current project & activity you're working on and how long you've been doing it.

2. Click the timer to open it

3. Select a project and activity

You can track time against your own Company (for general overhead activities that support the business such as meetings, marketing, training, travel, etc.) or against client projects. Client work is billable. Your activities are fully customizable.
