In a Materio project you can explore what a potential client might see before inviting them and you can also always view what an existing client with certain permissions can see. In this article we will go over both of those.

To ensure you know exactly what your client will see in the project, you can preview the client's view before sending an invitation by following these steps:

1. Click on "Share"

Click on   Share

2. Click on "Preview what a client sees"

Click on Preview what a client sees

You can "view as" a client and edit their permissions so that you can specify exactly what your client will see when they view the project in their Materio account. Follow these steps:

1. In your project, select the client you'd like to "view as"

The clients for your project are located at the top right of your project screen

In your project, choose which client you'd like to "view as"

2. Click "View as..."

Click on View as...

3. First, Materio will give you a breakdown of the permissions given to this client. Click "okay"

You can then view the project as a client and see what they see.

This gives you a breakdown of the permissions given to this client

4. If you're unsatisfied with your client's current settings, you can always change your client's permissions by clicking on their icon and then clicking "edit permissions"

You can change these permissions by going clicking on "edit permissions" for the client

5. Customize their pricing visibility by clicking the "edit" symbol

You can change their pricing visibility by clicking the "edit" symbol

6. This section will give you a few pricing viewing options to assign your client

7. Next, you can adjust the client's collaboration settings by clicking the edit symbol on the collaboration settings row.

Click on Collaboration settings…

8. This section will enable you to edit how your client will be able to collaborate on this project, such as viewing attachments, viewing product sources, or viewing the project timeline.
