1. Go to the top of your Scope of Work, on your project's "Scope" tab

2. Click on the "Gear" symbol at the top

Click on the "Gear" symbol at the top

3. Click on "Edit Default Rates"

Click on "Edit Default Rates"

4. Here you can customize and edit a variety of rates

Materio offers customization for the defaults on vendor tax, markup, and client tax (sales tax). You can edit the rates on cost components such as item, shipping, delivery, and labor.

You can edit the default vendor tax rate

And the default markup % and default client tax

5. The last step is to choose if you want to apply these changes.

This will not affect items that already exist in your project. It will only set default rates for all items added to your Scope of Work moving forward. If you would like to edit your rates for items you added previously to your Scope of Work, you will have to edit those items individually.

6. Click on Save

Click on Save

Now the rates for this project have been updated for all items moving forward.
