Organizing plan pages in folders

Group pages together in folders for easier access

Written by Thomas Chau

If your project has a lot of plan pages or boards, it may become overwhelming to see them all at once and difficult to navigate to the right one. You can organize the pages by creating folders of pages and naming them. You can create a folder by simply clicking to drag one page on top of another, creating a new folder.

You can then rename the folder to something meaningful such as "Kitchen Elevations" or "Cabinet Shop Drawings" or "Inspiration Boards" by hovering over it and clicking the "Rename" button. The second way to create a new folder is by creating a new, empty folder via clicking the page adder (the red button on the far right) and clicking "New Folder" and then dragging pages into it.

To see a folder's contents, you can click on it to expand it. Click again to close the folder.

To remove a page from a folder, drag it out of the folder. It will be placed back at the top level of your project next to the folder it came form.

To combine two folders, simply drag one onto another; the name of the receiving (or destination) folder will be kept for the new, combined folder.

To print or export a folder, click the folder, and hover over each thumbnail until the three dots appear. Click those, and select 'Print'. You can then share the folder with a client offline if needed. Note: only the firm can print and export project visuals; clients cannot access this feature.
