If an item actually does not require a client decision, you can disable the selection

Every scope item can be selectable or not, depending on whether you need a decision from your client. If you accidentally "Enabled Selection" on an item, making it enter the selections process, you can easily dismiss the selection by opening the item details and clicking "Selection is not needed".

1. Click on a scope item to view its details

Selections are controlled in the item's detail panel.

2. Click on the 'X' in the upper right corner of the Selection

Scroll down to the selections area for this item. Click where it says "selection is no longer needed". This means the item no longer needs a client decision.

3. Click "YES" to confirm

If you are in a situation where you have input a few different options for an item but don't need them any longer and need to dismiss the need for a selection, the best way to do this is by going to the selections tab and dismissing the selection by clicking the "X" in the top right corner:
