If you ever see this error, you may have an issue with your network settings:
This can happen if your computer or home/office router has cached stale or incorrect IP address for Materio's servers, or if your router somehow has a bad setting. Here are steps for how to troubleshoot the issue:
Confirm it's a local network problem: test by accessing Materio on your phone with WiFi turned OFF. Let's make sure it indeed is an issue with your router or computer and not Materio. Turn off the WiFi on your phone (so that it accesses the internet using cellular service) and navigate to Materio
If you still can't access Materio, contact support
If you can access it, you must be having some network issue on your computer. Go to the next step below.
Clear your browsing data and cache.
Reboot your browser (Safari or Chrome). Force Quit and re-launch it. If this doesn't help, go to the next step.
Reboot your Computer. If this doesn't help, go to the next step.
Add materio.co to your home WiFi "allow" list. Your home WiFi's security rules might accidentally be blocking Materio. To fix this, add the materio.co domain name to your router's "Allow" list. The specific steps will depend on what brand of home WiFi system you use.
Find your internet router and power it off, wait 3 minutes, then power it back on. Then reboot your computer. This should hopefully clear any stored addresses and force the router to re-lookup Materio's server addresses.
Make sure IPv4 is enabled in your computer
On Mac, make sure under your Network settings that "Configure IPv4" is set to "Using DHCP"
Finally, if all else fails, do a factory reset of your router. This should clear any and all stale data in the router and any strange firewall settings.
