Payout Timing
MaterioPay pays merchants on the schedule below. This timing is very stable, though not absolutely guaranteed.
Card payments: T+1
Date of the transaction + one business day.
The merchant receives funds by the end of the day (EOD) the next business day.
ACH payments: T+4
Date of the transaction + four business days.
The merchant receives funds by the end of the day (EOD) four business days after the transaction date.
NOTE: Business days exclude weekends and banking holidays, and there is a cutoff time every evening (typically after 9 pm), after which payment will be considered to have happened the next day.
Card Payment (T+1) Examples
Card payment on Tuesday:
The merchant will receive funds by EOD Wednesday.
Card payment on Wednesday at 11 p.m.:
The payment is considered to have happened Thursday morning. The merchant will receive funds by EOD Friday.
Card payment on Wednesday, July 3rd:
Merchants typically receive funds by EOD Thursday, but since July 4th is a banking holiday, they will receive funds by EOD Friday instead.
Card payment on Friday:
Merchants will receive funds by EOD Monday.
ACH Payment Examples (T+4)
ACH payment on Monday:
Merchants will receive funds by EOD Friday.
ACH payment on Tuesday:
Merchants will receive funds by EOD the following Monday.
ACH payment on Tuesday at 11 pm:
Payment is considered to have happened Wednesday morning. Merchants will receive funds by EOD the following Tuesday.
ACH payment on Tuesday, July 3rd:
Merchants would typically receive funds the following Monday, but since July 4th is a banking holiday, they will instead receive funds by EOD the following Tuesday.
