Materio automatically keeps you and your clients in the loop by making sure they are notified about important changes to their project when you do them - no need for you to manually send them an email. When you invite a client, you can control the level of notifications they receive.

Materio currently performs these notifications:

Comments that mention them: if you comment on any part of a project and "@Mention" them by name.

All other comments: if you make any comment on an item, option, or plan

Selection decisions: if anyone approves or declines a selection option, the clients are notified so they are aware. For example, if a husband and wife are both clients on a project, one partner will be notified about an approval by the other. Or, if you manually approve an item yourself on their behalf, they will both be notified.

Floor plan changes: whenever you upload a new version of a floor plan, they'll be notified so they can review the changes

Field notes posted: when a client-visible field note is posted, the client will be notified and be able to check out your progress photos and notes.
