Materio allows you to include multiple people when generating financial documents. This feature provides greater flexibility and transparency in your communication process. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to utilize this feature effectively.
Step 1: Drafting a New Invoice
When drafting a new invoice, retainer, or deposit, you'll notice a new field labeled "CC" in the invoice details.
Step 2: Default Recipients
By default, Materio will automatically CC you to maintain a paper trail of your client communications. However, you can remove yourself from the CC list if you desire.
Step 3: Identifying Primary Client
In the "Send To" field, enter the primary contact responsible for paying the invoice. This ensures clarity and organization in your communication.
Step 4: Including Additional Recipients
If other individuals are involved in the project or decision-making process, you can include them in the CC field. This will keep them informed about the project's progress and financial matters.
Step 5: Finalizing the Invoice
Once you've filled in the necessary details, such as itemized charges or services rendered, you can draft the rest of the invoice.
Step 6: Sending the Invoice
When you send the invoice, Materio will automatically copy (CC) the specified recipients and the primary client. This ensures that everyone involved is kept in the loop.
Additional Notes:
The CC feature applies to the initial sending of the invoice and subsequent actions, such as resending or requesting the invoice balance.
Automatic payment notifications will also include the CC recipients, ensuring they know of any financial transactions related to the invoice.
Materio learns from your previous invoices and automatically includes CC recipients for future invoices on the same project, streamlining your workflow.
